VC Associate / Analyst
 

Location: Prague or Bratislava

This investment professional will provide investment support for our new VC fund, collaborating closely with our investment team to identify and help execute investments. The fund would make investments in the range of €1-4M in tech companies and growth innovation-driven SMEs originating from Czechia and Slovakia, either as a fresh capital provider or in the secondary market. 

Responsibilities​

• Reviewing business plans and pitch decks

• Calling on and meeting with prospects

• Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on new investments (business and technology analysis and evaluation, industry thesis, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, and deal structuring)

• Assessing market/company attractiveness to help identify compelling businesses

• Performing industry reviews

• Participating in the investment process and investment committee discussions

• Assisting in VC fund administration

• Providing support to portfolio companies

Requirements​

• Around 2 years of prior investment experience (PE/VC, investment bank/M&A advisor) or relevant experience in business consulting and/or technology start-up with some global exposure

• Degree from a recognized university

• ​​Motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who works on own initiative with light supervision

• Confident and positive, high-energy, cultured, capable of easily interacting with senior management

• Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, including financial modelling

• Ability to produce well designed professional looking Powerpoint presentation​
